What Is Error Code 105?
This article explains why users may encounter Error Code 105 when attempting to access Transferology® and how to go about resolving this issue.

Error Code 105
Transferology has security protocols in place to protect the system and its users. If Transferology detects unusual activity from a location, it will issue Error Code 105 and prevent individuals from logging in.
Unusual activity includes but is not limited to:
- Multiple log-in attempts; and
- Adding or removing a large number of courses.

If Error Code 105 is encountered upon attempting to log in to Transferology, please reach out to CollegeSource for assistance by following the steps below. CollegeSource wants to ensure that students who require access to Transferology are able to have that access and obtain the information needed about transfer options.
- Within any page in Transferology, select the Help & Feedback button.
- Within the pop-up, select Contact Transferology.
- Fill out the form below, referencing Error Code 105:
- Name, Subject, Email address, How can we help?
- Upload an attachment (optional).
- Select Send a message.
Additional Considerations
CollegeSource recommends that students use a verified school .edu email address within Transferology. See the instructions below for updating and verifying an account email.
To update an email address in Transferology:
- Select the user profile icon (the user's name).
- Select Edit Profile.
- Under Email, enter the .edu email address.
- Select Update Profile.
To verify an account email:
- Select the user profile icon (the user's name).
- Select Edit Profile.
- Under Email, select the Not Verified - Click to send email hyperlink.
- Log into the email associated with the Transferology account and look for a message titled "(Name), Welcome to Transferology."
- Follow the instructions in the email to confirm the address.
