What Is a Department?

Transferology® organizes courses by department. Names vary amongst colleges and universities, but examples include Biology, Math, Sociology, etc. The department abbreviation for each subject appears before its full name on the Courses tabs in Transferology. These abbreviations come from the institution's course catalog.

Example: ANTH - ANTHROPOLOGY
